What’s the minimum age to book?
Minimum age of booker and lead guest staying is 25
What apartment will you allocate for our stay?
Book directly with us and we can allocate your preferred apartment for your stay, subject to availability. You can find videos of our apartments on our website
Do you accept pets?
No pets are allowed
Are your apartments non-smoking?
All apartments and communal areas are non-smoking
Do you accept hen and stag bookings?
We do not accept hen and stag bookings at our Southside or York Place apartments
Where can I find my payment and cancellation policy?
This is detailed on your booking confirmation
Can I add a person onto my booking?
This depends on the apartment you have booked. This would be in an extra bed or sofa bed and a charge would be applied if maximum occupancy is exceeded
What is my payment date?
Payment and policies are as agreed on booking and per our terms and conditions. This is noted on your booking confirmation and on booking website prior to booking. Flexible Rate – If cancelled before the cancellation deadline of your booking, as outlined at the time of booking and on your confirmation, then no fee will be charged. If cancelled later than the cancellation deadline outlined or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Advance Purchase Rate– Strictly fully non-refundable or transferable at any point after booking
How do I pay for my booking?
Full payment will be charged to the debit or credit card provided at the time of booking unless you have organised a bank transfer with us. If you have booked an advance purchase rate, payment is taken on receipt of the booking and is strictly non-refundable or transferable
Can I make a change to my booking?
You can change dates and guest numbers prior to your payment and cancellation date if booked on our flexible rate. After this date no changes can be made
How do I cancel your booking?
You can cancel your booking by clicking the link on your booking confirmation to cancel. Or you can email us at enquiries@destinationedinburghapartments.co.uk

Do you apartments have short term licensing?
Destination Edinburgh are delighted to have Edinburgh Short term let licences for all our properties. Details of our licence numbers are noted in our terms and conditions

What is your Energy Performance rating?
All our apartments have a “C” Rating
House rules
What are the house rules?
Parties/events are not allowed – there is a Security Deposit per apartment to cover damage to the apartment including banners being stuck on walls, noise, smoking and anti-social behaviour.
The apartments have a Quiet Period between 11.00pm-8.00am
within the apartment and all communal areas. Please respect fellow guests, our neighbours and the apartments themselves.
Security
to reinforce we have noise sensors in the apartments as well as regular and staff/security patrols. We have security on call 24 hours a day so we will enforce all house rules and exercise our rights to ask clients to leave if they do not follow these rules.
What happens if we break the house rules?
If any house rules have been broken, we will be in touch with you to discuss and your pre authorisation will be charged if required
Apartments
Are your apartments accessible?
At York we do have a couple of ground floor 2-bedroom apartments but there are steps up to the main door. We do not have disabled facilities at any of our apartments. Our Southside do have some stairs to the ground floor apartments and no lift in the buildings
Do you have a luggage store?
We only have a luggage store at our York Place apartments for our guests staying here , subject to availability. This needs to be requested with us in advance, please contact us at enquiries@destinationedinburghapartments.co.uk
Is there WIFI?
Free WIFI; log in details are found in your apartment
Do you provide towels and linen?
All beds are made up with sheets and duvets and hand towels, bath towels and bathmat are supplied
Is there a hair dryer and iron and ironing board?
1 hairdryer per apartment and an iron and ironing board per apartment
What else is provided in the apartments?
Tea, coffee and sugar sachets, washing up liquid, soap, toilet roll, washing tablets and dishwasher tablets (no dishwasher at Southside). These are all provided to start your self-catering stay off and if require more you would need to purchase these yourselves

What is in the kitchens?
Toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge/freezer, oven, grill, hob. Saucepans, oven trays, plates, side plates, bowls, wine glasses, tumblers, champagne glasses, mugs. Cutlery, sharp knives, and various utensils
Arrival
What time is check in?
Check in is 1500, if arriving earlier we do have a luggage store for our York Place apartments, this does need to be requested and subject to availability. Unfortunately, there is no luggage store at our Southside apartments
How do we check in?
We will provide the entry details a few days prior to your arrival so you can check yourselves in
Can we pay for an early check in?
This is subject to availability; we will check and contact you back if possible and advise of any cost

What time is check out?
Check out is up to 11 am for direct bookings made with Destination Edinburgh (1030 am for agent bookings). You can also use our luggage store after check out if staying at our York Place Apartments, subject to availability. Please get in touch with us if you would like to use this, at enquiries@destinationedinburghapartments.co.uk There is no luggage store at our Southside apartments
Can we pay for a late check out to keep apartment on?
This is subject to availability; we will check and contact you back if possible and advise of cost
How do we leave the apartment?
Leave all keys on the dining room table, leave the beds unmade, no need to strip them. Place used towels in the bath, load the dishwasher and start it or wash dishes and put away. Make sure all rubbish is in the bins. Move all furniture and items back to original locations and make sure you have all your belongings
