Information

York Place self-catering Apartments are set within two converted Georgian town houses, offering modern apartments in Edinburgh city centre, 3 minutes’ walk from Princes Street, the main thoroughfare and heart of the city. The apartments are directly opposite the new St James Quarter, one of the largest and most modern shopping and leisure facilities in Europe.

Each apartment has multiple flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Our deluxe apartments also have Netflix.

There are private bath and shower rooms, large lounges and kitchen/dining areas. A few extras are left to start your stay off, soap, washing up liquid, washing powder, dishwasher tablets, rubbish bags, toilet rolls, tea, coffee and sugar sachets

Each fully equipped kitchen within our Apartments has a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, cooker and microwave. Towels and linen are included, and travel cots and high chairs can be requested.

Situated in Edinburgh’s New Town, Edinburgh Castle, Palace of Holyrood house, Calton Hill and Princes Street Gardens as well as many other major attractions are just a 15-minute walk away.

Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station is just over 5 minutes’ walk away and access to all the rest of the city is easy via tram, bus or foot!

The nightlife districts of St Andrews Square, George Street, Rose Street and the Old Town are just 5-10 minutes’ walk from the apartments.

Security: – We have a presence in the apartments 24 hours and all apartments are fitted with noise aware software

We do not accept bookings from local residents

Minimum Age of Lead Booker (and person staying) must be 25, We may check main booker Groups

The apartments are fitted with noise aware sensors and have 24-hour security. We will enforce all house rules and exercise our rights to ask clients to leave if they do not follow these rules Departure. Please respect fellow guests, our neighbours and the apartments themselves

A damage deposit of GBP 200 per apartment is required prior to arrival, the pre authorisation is a temporary hold of funds held against a credit card to guarantee funds are available to cover any damages or anti-social behaviour incurred during your stay from misuse or neglect

Your apartment will be allocated at 20 and or 20/a York Place and for all deluxe apartment bookings your apartment is located at 24 York Place. These are all separate apartment blocks/entrances

Please note that there are no lifts and there are a number of stairs to the Deluxe 5 bedroom apartment and the Three bedroom apartment for 6 guests. These particular apartments are not suited for young families or those with mobility difficulties but in general the apartments are suitable for familie

All our bookings include VAT as we are part of the Travel Operators Margin Scheme and we are unable to provide a VAT breakdown

“Most enjoyable two night stay”

We loved our time at 20 York Place! It was a gorgeous apartment, in a fantastic central location with stunning views and all the amenities we needed. Beds were very comfy, bathrooms modern and most important super clean! The service at time of booking and throughout arrival etc was brilliant, we will be back for sure.  Edinburgh is a fabulous city and definitely worth a visit.
